Hello everyone!! :) in this post, I will be talking about our film reviewing and wiki writing experience.
We finished this task together with my dear friend Yonca! As for the task, we had to watch a movie and write certain things about that movie, as well as completing a wiki page fit for specific instructions. In the screenshot I provided, you’ll be able to see our wiki post. To be honest, sitting down and brainstorming together was very fun, especially since we shared the same opinions about the movie we watched.
Unfortunately, it wasn’t our cup of tea. We
finished the task while talking and sharing our opinions via a phone call. It’s
so nice to have someone else mirror your thoughts or finish your sentences when
you struggle.
While trying to
decorate our texts, we decided on the fonts together and we also searched for
appropriate pictures or media collaboratively. Putting our thoughts down made
us remember our watching process and we had a really good laugh during the
writing process. We also noticed that there was another pair who watched the
same movie as us and our reviews were drastically different. This made us both
wonder if we watched the same movie as them.…
I also want to
mention that tasks like these would be both super helpful and beneficial for
children or students. It would help with teamwork and communication skills as
well as creativity. Not to mention it would be a really good practice of
writing skills. I would give a similar task to my students in the future too :]
