Hello and bye everyone! This is my final post in this blog and I can finally say that we have concluded our journey. I will be mentioning my thoughts about the course in this final post.
This course was definitely an eye opener in terms of my understanding
of technology integration into classes. I was aware we’d be more familiar with
technology as a generation of 21st century teachers but I’ve seen more concrete
examples. I understood how tasks with technology would help our students gain
more efficiency in their language learning process. Since our future students
would have grown up with technology in their lives at all times, they would
certainly want to use similar facilities in their language learning process.
This would make learning definitely more fun and fit for them.
The task I liked the most was the padlet creation one! I
liked it a lot because it was a group task. Me and my friends came together to
do it and had so much fun, finding ideas and helping each other in the process!
I also think that our final result looks very pleasant to the eye. I’d want to
do it again, honestly.
The task I liked the least is the digital storytelling task.
It was very hard to make and I don’t think it is suitable for k12 students. I
can’t say I had much fun while doing it.
Overall this was a very fun course and we had a variety of
activities that I liked. I must mention how fun it was to customize our blogs
as well. The only problem was that other courses also demanded some other works
and since the times were limited, it was a little stressful for me. I’d have
wanted more time for task completion.
Goodbye, dear readers and take care. :)
